Contacts... First Time? At IGARD, We C A R E We Check - We Advice - We Recommend - We Educate    At IGARD, our optometrists will CHECK your eyes (especially your cornea and tear duct/film) to ensure that contact lenses are appropriate for you. Cornea Health Assessment is provided during our routine Standard Eye Examination if you are interested with wearing contact lenses.   SOFT or HARD? Our optometrists will ADVICE you what sort of contact lenses are the most appropriate for your eyes. For example, High Oxygen Permeable contact lenses will allow your eyes to breath more naturally than ordinary contact lenses.    Disposables or Conventionals? Our optometrists will RECOMMEND you the brand and type of contact lenses that best suit your needs. Disposable contact lenses are best for individuals who require convenience and ease of cleanliness, whilst conventional contact lenses often provide a more customised fit for your eyes. In addition, you will be taught how to care for your contact lenses and your eyes. Regular cleaning and disinfection of your contact lenses are essential for healthy eyes and many good years of successful contact lens wear ahead.
